Our Institution has submitted an application for the Erasmus University Charter 2010-2013
In the meantime we are seeking partners for agreements in order to start mobility.
fare nuove esperienze culturali all’estero in un diverso sistema
culturale.
The Brescia Music Conservatorio, entiteled to Luca Marenzio, fine Renassaince Musician famous in Europe at his time,is a High Education Music Institute with programmes and objectives suitible for LLP programme. The international strategy of our Institute is first of all acieving cooperation with similar High Education Musical institutes, exchanges aim to full integration of students and recognition of ECTS acieved. Priority is given to offer the best learning possibilities during students stay; thus compairing contents with HEI Institutes abroad to improve also our programme plans. We also make multilateral projects and have cooperation with other High Education Institute partners, such as Fine Arts Accademy, that can be attended by Erasmus students.
Before starting mobility, preliminary visits will be organized with partners in order to verify the collaboration terms and evaluation of programme levels for in-coming and out-going students. For mobility of the outgoing students an appropriate commission will estimate the applications advanced from interested students based on the specific requirements (credit, linguistic acquaintance of the accommodating Country, acceptance of the study plan proposed),then there will be monitoring of results achieved from the students in mobility ( an evaluation team is active) .
Refering to Erasmus/LLP project our Music Conservatory has a related section on our website,in two languages: Italian and English. Important information is given, ad example news on projects, bilateral agreements, help for students, links to EACEA ad Our National Agency, email and phone number of Erasmus co-ordinator. SMS and STA mobility is supported by the co-ordinator. The co-ordinator is always active for help in didactical purposes and aid for practical arangements such as information for accomodation, travel, etc. Staff mobility can also be supported by preparatory and language courses.
Our priority is that visiting students, in adition to the regular courses they attend, must be envolved in internal projects (music groups, chamber music performing, orchestra, exibitions, concerts, events), in specific activities related to their curriculum and also in town musical activities. Study rooms are available for individual practicing and it is also possible for them to have access to multimedia work-room. Italian language courses for visiting students are active in our Institute.
Refering to visiting Professors we would desire they take lectures and Masterclasses attended by regular students and in-coming students. Our Institution will be activated in order to remove every form of discrimination of race, gender, social, economic condition.
Activities will all be proposed in order to guarantee pair opportunity of access for everyone. We ensure to support integration of all kinds of students. Musical activities such as chamber music, work-shops, exibitions, orchestra rehearsals, that envolve regular students together with incoming students are the best chances for full integration.Highest quality is implemented by establishing bilateral agreements between us and Institutions that offer courses similar to ours. Together with the co-ordinator students envolved in projects and courses will get full information on study programmes, teachers, courses, credits. The new didactic ordering has introduced evaluation in ECTS. The Learning Agreement, the ECTS Learning Agreement, the Transcipt of Records and the Diploma Supplement, the publication of teachers programmes, student help online in Italian and English (also in student's bureau) and tutoring in order to supply complete information and attendance to in-coming and outgoing students will be provided also as preparatory and refresher language courses. The coordinator will provide information on curricula, and a special team will recognized credits acieved in the original country and have evaluation control on credits acieved in our Institute.
